AC Milan Will Pay €10 Million To Sign James Rodriguez
Carlo Ancelotti’s departure from Goodison Park has left James Rodriguez in a rather difficult position, with the Colombian playmaker reportedly set to join AC Milan for 10 million euros.
James has spent just one season with Everton in the Premier League and he quickly showed his quality, although fans were left miffed over his multiple fitness issues which plagued his campaign.
Rafa Benitez’s arrival has done little to improve James’ chances of staying on Merseyside, and the Italian newspaper Tuttosport have reported that Milan will sign the playmaker for 10 million euros.
In addition to that initial cash outlay, the Rossoneri will pay the 29-year-old an annual salary of six million euros, which would be an improvement on his current terms with the Toffees.
From a Milan perspective James will see him come in and replace Hakan Calhanoglu, while his arrival also bolsters their overall quality ahead of a return to the Champions League.
