For Real Madrid’s directors, their next priority is to sign Endrick, the 16-year-old Palmeiras player who is the next great talent of Brazilian football.

As he plays more and more matches for Palmeiras, his price is rising and Real Madrid want to get a deal in place soon.

With this in mind, there are some representatives of the Spanish club currently in Sao Paulo to continue evaluating the player and to open negotiations with Palmeiras.

In any case, he wouldn’t be able to move to Spain until he reaches 18 years of age, which will be in July of 2024. So, he’ll stay with his current club until at least that summer.

Despite this, the Real Madrid hierarchy don’t want to wait much longer and that’s why they are starting talks.

Real Madrid’s negotiations with Palmeiras

This current visit is Real Madrid’s third to the city of Sao Paulo in recent months.

All of them have been with the objective of laying the groundwork for a move for Endrick, who scored a great goal against Fortaleza this week to continue proving his worth.

They’ll stay there until the weekend to take in his next match too.

Many clubs want to sign Endrick

Real Madrid aren’t the only club monitoring the teenager and PSG are one of their main rivals for the signature.

This has created a sense of urgency, even if the family are initially open to the idea of him moving to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Los Blancos know what they’re doing, as they were also able to convince other Brazilian talents in recent years, such as Vinicius, Rodrygo and Reinier.

No club has presented a formal offer as of yet, but Palmeiras know that offers will come.

The player’s release clause is at 60 million euros, but there is a pact that could see him go for 35m euros or 40m euros.

In any case, his price should keep rising with each new eye-catching performance.
