Police Descend On Woolwich Town Centre

A large police presence has been seen in Woolwich around General Gordon Square  over the past hour.

It’s believed at least one person was arrested as a number of vans and cars arrived blocking the road.

Buses were disrupted for a time though it now appears to be returning to normal.
