Chelsea eased the pressure on Frank Lampard with a 1-0 win over west London neighbours Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
There were chances for both teams in an open first half, with Mason Mount hitting the crossbar for the visitors and Ivan Cavaleiro mishitting a shot for the hosts.
Fulham were reduced to 10 men just before half time when Antonee Robinson was sent off for a challenge on Cesar Azpilicueta.
Chelsea eventually capitalised on their man advantage, with Mount smashing home the winning goal in the 78th minute.
The victory takes Lampard’s side up to seventh in the Premier League table, while Fulham remain in the bottom three.
