I’m Not Going To Hide, Cala To Speak Out About Diakhaby Racism Allegations

Valencia’s clash with Cadiz on Sunday was marred by allegations of racist abuse from Juan Cala towards Mouctar Diakhaby.

In response, Cala has stated that he will not hide from the incident and wants to make public declarations on Tuesday.

“I am very calm, I am not going to hide. Tomorrow I will speak at a press conference,” Cala said on Monday.

“It seems that, in this country, there is no presumption of innocence,” he added.

Cadiz have confirmed that a press conference will be held on Tuesday for Cala to give his side of the story.

“Juan Cala will appear this Tuesday at a press conference upon conclusion of the training session in the training centre,” the club announced on social media.
