COVID-19: Actress Funke Akindele In Police Net Over House Party; Naira Marley, JJC, Others On The Run
Men of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested popular actress Funke Akindele-Bello over a house party hosted in her residence in Lagos on Saturday.
Apart from arresting Funke, the police announced that Azeez Fashola popularly called Naira Marley and Funke’s husband JJC Skillz should turn themselves in on Monday for interrogations.
Bala Elkana police spokesman in Lagos said Sunday evening “Funke Akindele was arrested. Investigation is ongoing, efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz.”
The actress had earlier today come online to offer apology while also explaining that the team had been in her residence long before the lockdown order for a production currently going on.
