Every TV Shows, Film Coming To Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Hulu In April
It has been a year since the coronavirus pandemic broke out and none of us could have predicted what was yet to come. With April Fool’s Day right around the corner, spring opens its doors to countless new streaming options. Netflix navigates us through a new cycle of ‘Too Hot to Handle’ and ‘The Circle’, introducing us to its new scheduling strategy. HBO Max will be releasing the new super rated-R ‘Mortal Kombat’ starring Kate Winslet who has come a long way from ‘Titanic’.
Hulu will welcome back its most popular original series in April, along with a trio of buzz-worthy documentaries and some ’90s movie favourites. The streaming service also has a few high-profile documentaries such as ‘WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn’ (April 2), whose title is pretty self-explanatory; ‘Hysterical’ (April 3), which profiles female stand-up comics and streams a day after it airs on FX; and ‘Sasquatch’ (April 20), a three-part series produced by the Duplass brothers investigating whether Bigfoot killed three Northern California pot growers in 1993.
Meanwhile, Disney + will debut the John Stamos basketball dramedy ‘Big Shot’, which is sure to get the whole family emotional.
What is coming out on Netflix in April 2021?
Netflix is releasing a slew of new stuff in April, including the return of a reality hit and a much-anticipated new fantasy series.
That would be ‘Shadow and Bone’ (April 23), the series adaptation of the hugely popular YA novels from Leigh Bardugo. Jessie Mei Li stars as Alina, an orphan in a war-torn country who discovers she has mystical powers that could change the fate of her world.
