Dani Alves Defends Himself After Being Accused Of Sexual Assault
Brazilian footballer Dani Alves has recently been denounced for an alleged sexual assault on a woman at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.
The Liga Mx Pumas player spoke exclusively to the Spanish television programme ‘Y Ahora Sonsoles’ to tell his truth about what is happening.
“I would like to deny it. I love dancing, but without invading the environment of others. I’m very sorry, but I don’t know who this lady is, I don’t know her,” he said.
“I don’t like to invade anyone’s space, how can I do that to a lady. I don’t know who she is. She is hurting my family.”
Details of the alleged assault have come to light
The radio programme Levantate OK spoke about what allegedly happened in the early hours of December 30, indicating that the police are already conducting an investigation against Alves, who has been accused of being responsible for the aggression.
“They were dancing in a very affectionate attitude, chatting and laughing, when one of them went to the bathroom; the footballer went behind and just a few seconds later they came out together and returned with the group,” the outlet reported.
“When Dani Alves and his friends left the place, the young woman starts to cry and claims that she has been raped.”
