The Ballon d’Or for 2017 has been won by Real Madrid and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo.
At a ceremony at the Eiffel Tower on Thursday evening, the 32-year-old was presented with the prize for the best men’s player of their year, the fifth time he has won it.
It follows on from his claiming of FIFA’s ‘The Best’ award, which the No.7 got his hands on in London in October.
Ronaldo also won the 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2016 editions of the award.
His eternal rival for the honour Lionel Messi finished in second place, while Neymar was third.
