Adewale Jafojo Appreciates Ikeja People For Voting For Sanwo-Olu
The son of the former deputy Governor of Lagos State, Hon Adewale Jafojo, has sent a congratulatory message to Lagosians, particularly the people of Ikeja Federal Constituency for coming out in their number to support the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
In a statement he released shortly after the declaration of Sanwo-Olu as the winner of the Lagos gubernatorial election held on Saturday, Jafojo expressed his heartfelt appreciation, thanking the people for rallying around support for Sanwo-Olu.
While referring to some of his initiatives at encouraging electorates within his Constituency to vote for Gov Sanwo-Olu, he said, “No doubt, you made our clarion call and statewide campaign before the election a success.”
“Your suggestions and advice during the door-to-door campaigns were really helpful”.
The Lagos State House of Assembly, put up different campaign strategies to enlighten Lagosians, especially the people of his constituency at the wake of the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Lagos on the need to support and vote APC.
He subsequently won his Polling Unit at the elections with APC clinching 72 votes while the Labour Party (LP) got 26 votes and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 3 votes.
