Edo: PDP Oredo Ward 3 Drum Support For Hon Nelson Ogbonmwan Led Exco

The leadership of the peoples democratic party Oredo ward 3 have once again thrown their weight behind Hon. Nelson Ogbonmwan led ward executives. This was made known to the public at a world press briefing at Uzebu community town hall in ward 03 Oredo Local government area.

Speaking, the Leader of PDP Oredo Ward 3, Prof Faith Osama-Osadolor reiterated how Hon Nelson Ogbonmwan Won the Ward PDP primaries conducted in February 1st 2020 with a total votes of 162 while the other candidate Osazee Omoregie score 18 votes. He said the election was conducted by Hon Mike Ehima also know as Pam Pam, a two time chairman of Oredo Local govt council and the then vice chairman of PDP in Edo State.

Osadolor further said when the results was submitted to Governor Seyi Makinde Committee, the man that won the chairmanship position, his name was completely removed from the list and the man who nominated him Mr Ikpomwosa Idahosa (Who contested solely for vice chairman and was returned unopposed) was now imposed as chairman and the man that contested with Hon Nelson Ogbonmwan for the position of Chairman was also imposed as Secretary of the ward.

“it’s on record that the day our amiable and progressive governor, Our brother, our Son and Our Leader, Mr Godwin Obaseki registered as a member of peoples democratic party, he told us at state secretariat that he have read the party constitution severally and that he is now the undisputed leader of the party, we therefore call on him as our undisputed leader, as a man who have benefit from the justice system in Nigeria to ensure the dispensation of Justice in PDP ward 3 oredo, to ensure that one man will not continue to manipulate the activities of the party in oredo that may gravitate toward the government now been answerable to one man rather than the government answerable to the people.

Earlier the elected chairman of PDP ward 3 oredo Hon Nelson Ogbonmwan lamented how is name and those of other excos that won in February 1st 2020 primaries was change in Abuja by one man that claims to be the alpha and omega of oredo and he call on the governor of Edo state to intervene in the situation to ensure justice is served.

Also speaking one of the leader of PDP ward 3 and an ardent supporter of Governor Godwin N. Obaseki Administration, Comrade Kelly Okungbowa Aka Ebo Stone said part of the reason he followed governor to leave APC is when one man was trying to be God and we told them no man is God and as such we will not fold our hands and allow such to repeat itself again in PDP and most especially in Oredo. He call on all Stakeholders of the party to quickly intervene on the matter.

Other leaders present at the press briefing are Hon Charles Egbon, Col. Oduwa Irabor, Pastor Eric Edos Among others.
