#EndSARS: Accusing Gov’s Aide Of Attacking Protesters Ridiculous – Group

A right organization, the Black Youth Vanguard (BYV), has frowned on accusation that, one of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s aides masterminded an attack on the organizers of the ill-fated #EndSARS protest of last year, describing the accusation as, “ridiculous, unfair, disgusting and tissue of lies from the bottom of hell.”
The governor’s aide being referred to is Mr Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, also known as Zulu Authority, who serves in the current administration as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Sports.
The organization, in a release signed by its Convener, Comrade JamesAdeyemi in Lagos Monday night, suspected that, the motive of those behind the accusation was not about the governor’s aide said to be the arrow head of the attacker, but an indirect way to get at the governor to tannish the good work he has been doing, asserting that, “They will fail woefully as they have been failing before.”
The organization, which said that the accusation was not new and not a surprise reasoned that, “it is natural to expect such silly things any time a crucial election is fast approaching and the sitting governor is meeting the aspirations of the people,” expressing the confidence that, “Governor Sanwo-Olu has crossed the Rubicon of blackmail and his train of achievements has gone beyond what a bunch of never do well and their paymaster can halt.”
The statement further expressed disgust over some names mentioned as the governor’s aide’s accomplices in the alleged attack, describing the accusers as “dumb because if they have made their researches correctly, they would have come to the realisation that, the personalities mentioned are the frontline seasoned right activists and pro-democracy die hard crusades as far as their teens in their various secondary schools!
Some of the activists named as Zulu’s accomplices are, Nelson Ekujimi, Gbenga Soloki, Rasaq Olokooba and Debo Adeniran!
The organization was reacting to a press conference Monday addressed by the Lagos chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC), Comrade Kunle Ajayi, where he was reported to have alleged that, “the hoodlums’ attack during the #EndSARS protests were led by an aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, also known as Zulu Authority.”
Ajayi was quoted to have alleged that, “the disruption of the protests by hoodlums was not that of obscure factsF since the perpetrators are from the government and very well known by name.”
In conclusion, the AAC chairman said Zulu “controls a network of thugs including Nelson Ekujimi, Gbenga Soloki, Rasaq Olokooba and Debo Adeniran,” among others.
But the BYV, in its statement said nothing can be more laughable than ascribing violence to the above mentioned world class activists, saying, they are, unarguably, the frontline human right fighters and peace makers known beyond the shore of the country.
Inconclusion, Adeyemi said, we are convinced beyond reasonable doubt that, the SSA to the governor on Sports is a man of an impeccable character, when we search for his resume and found that he parades intimating credentials thus:
“Chief Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka (a.k.a Zulu Authority), is a native of Oro town in Kwara State born into the family of the famous Oni Arokola Millions. He studied Banking and Finance at the Kwara State Polytechnic. He has worked with Afribank PLC. Earlier, he has served as Deputy Kai Marshall and Provost Marshall under the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and continued under the administration of Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN).
He is now the Senior Special Assistant (SSA), to the Governor on Sports, member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) facility committee, Director General (DG) Team Lagos and President, Smart City Football Club.”
His chieftaincy tittles, according to Barr. Success-Adekunle are; Baba Ewe of Isheri Olofin, Baba Ewe of Ijara Isin kwara State, Baba Ewe of Ipele Owo, Ondo State, Baba Ewe of Osasa, Ogun State and Baba Ewe Adimula of Ojokoro kingdom Lagos State as well as Olumodu of Ado kingdom Badagry.
