President Tinubu Suspends NPPC GMD, Mele Kyari

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), Mr Mele Kyari, from office with immediate effect.

This is sequel to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the economy and missing crude oil funds.

This comes under 24 hours after the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele was suspended by the President and arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
