One of Nigeria leading sports betting company Winners Golden Bet (WGB) has signed and unveiled popular hip-hop artiste, Adekunle Temitope known as ‘Small Doctor’ as the new brand ambassador.
Small Doctor who is among Nigeria A-list artiste was signed during opening of new headquarters of the company situated at Seriki Aro street, Ikeja, Lagos.
Speaking during the ceremony on Tuesday, the Executive Director of WGB, Mr Sulaimon Olabanji, clarified reason behind choosing Small Doctor as brand ambassador “Small Doctor is one of respected Nigeria musician, he still have a long way to go, we anticipating long working relationship with him”, he stated.
He explained further that “he was picked due to his immense contribution to the entertainment industry”.
Explaining other activities of WGB Olabanji stated: “WGB have been sponsoring FA Cup for the past few years as well grassroots sporting events such as football, tennis, basketball among others”.
“We will see where we can come in regarding sponsorship for this year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
In his remark, Small Doctor expressed gratitude toward WGB for the gesture, says this is beginning of new thing in the organization “I will first of all thank God for making this possible, thank my team as well. To WGB, this will be beginning of new thing in your organization”, he said.
Ahead of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Small Doctor is also optimistic of Nigeria winning the trophy.
Highlight of the event include opening of the headquarters with arcade of all games like Lotto, Sports Betting, Slot Machine among others.
