Dog Tests Positive For COVID-19, Showing Symptoms

South Korean authorities have announced that a dog has tested positive for COVID-19 in the country’s capital, Seoul.

The eight-year-old Cocker Spaniel showed symptoms including fever and a runny nose, as its owner informed in an epidemiological survey.

Then, the corresponding protocol was followed by the South Korean health officials who took samples from the canine’s nose and rectum.

The dog will now be isolated at home for two weeks, with its owner taking care of it.
