Alvaro Morata scored twice as Juventus came from behind to beat Lazio 3-1 at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.

A mistake in possession from Dejan Kulusevski gifted the visitors their opening goal, with Joaquin Correa taking full advantage to find the net.

With Cristiano Ronaldo left on the bench to start the game, Morata stepped up to take responsibility for the creating and scoring of chances.

After setting up Adrien Rabiot for the equaliser, the Spanish international put Juventus in front himself in the second half.

The hosts were awarded a penalty moments afterwards when Sergej Milinkovic-Savic fouled Aaron Ramsey, with Morata sending Pepe Reina the wrong way from the spot.

Andrea Pirlo’s side move to within one point of second-place AC Milan in the Serie A table with the victory, while Lazio stay in seventh.
