Paris Saint-German Beaten At Home

Paris Saint-Germain’s unconvincing performance against Barcelona was just a prelude to Sunday, as they were beaten 2-1 by Nantes at the Parc des Princes.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team, still without the injured Neymar, did take the lead in the Ligue 1 match when Julian Draxler beat Alban Lafont from the edge of the box.

The tables then turned on the hosts, though. Kylian Mbappe’s risky pass was pounced upon by Randal Kolo Muani for Nantes’ equaliser.

The visitors would edge in front with 20 minutes to go when Muani found Moses Simon, who found the back of the net.

That was where they stayed, too, as PSG suffered their seventh defeat of their Ligue 1 season and remain three points behind leaders Lille.

For Nantes, they get a vital three points in their bid to stay up in Ligue 1. They stay in the relegation zone but are now just one point from safety.
