Jovic Ends Goal Drought Amid Talk Of Real Madrid Return

Luka Jovic rediscovered his scoring touch on Saturday, hitting his first Bundesliga goal since January during Eintracht Frankfurt’s 4-3 win over Wolfsburg.

The Real Madrid loanee had gone nine matches without a goal in the Bundesliga before he drove a shot past Koen Casteels to give Frankfurt a 2-1 lead in the first half.

On Friday, Jovic reiterated his desire to return to Los Blancos once his loan expires at the end of the season.

“Everyone knows that I’m officially a Real Madrid player, I’ll be back there at the end of the season,” Jovic told Bild.

“It’s logical that I can’t talk about my career for a few months.”
