Haaland Draws Another Blank, But Contributes To Dortmund Win

Erling Haaland turned provider on Saturday as his Borussia Dortmund side beat Stuttgart 3-2 away from home in the Bundesliga.

Sasa Kalajdzic’s looping header had given the hosts the lead, with Jude Bellingham equalising for Dortmund in the second half.

Marco Reus put Dortmund in front after Haaland had dummied Mateu Morey’s pass on the edge of the penalty area.

After Daniel Didavi had levelled the scoring with 12 minutes to go, youngster Ansgar Knauff collected the ball off Haaland before finding the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Haaland’s goal drought for club and country extends to six games with this match, though his contributions to Dortmund’s victory cannot be understated.
