Picture Of Nigeria’s Blueprint Painted By Fashola Heart-warming – Group

A group of public analysts and pro-democratic organization, Speak-Out 24/7 has given kudos to the immediate past Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), for renewing the Nigerian’s, especially the youth that the country still has a brighter hope of prosperity and survival.

The group was reacting to the keynote address Fashola delivered at the 2023 Standard Chartered Treasury Leadeship Forum (TLF) on the theme; “The Blueprint for Tomorrow,” at the Mike Adenuga Centre, Ikoyi Lagos recently.

Speaking on the lecture, Chief Convener and its Public Relations Officer, Comrades Razaq Olokoba Adekunle Adeosun respectively agreed that, coming from Fashola that the country has solid potential to survive in the continent of Africa nd the world over is a tonic that can keep hope alive because Fashola is a personality that knows his onion when it comes to saying things the way they are with facts and figures.

“Whatever Fashola tells you can be taken to the bank and be honoured without hesitation,” the duo chorused adding that, “the aspect of Nigeria been a very big market in the world with all the necessary human and natural resources to turn into wealth for the future enjoyment and survival is equally soothing and assuring.”

Olokoba, a Chartered Public Administrator (CPA), and member, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), pick out the aspect of Fashola’s speech where he made heart-warming reference to the youth as potential tools for growth and development with their raw energy with eagerness to unleash the energy for the progress of their fatherland, saying such a reference has the tendency for the youth to desire to excel.

According to Olokoba, if Nigeria is the largest nation of black people with youthful bulk, between the ages of 18 and 35, Fashola is invariably referring to the youth as the pillars on which the hope and survival of the country would rest pointing out that, “going by Fashola’s last Ministries, he has contributed immensely in putting in place the required infrastructure needed for growth and development of Nigeria far into the future.

The vibrant youth leader, who doubles as the Convener and National President of Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), reminded the public of the efforts of the Minister at developing several infrastructure that would give the country confidence to dabble into any sphere of development of world standard, mentioning, roads network and solid edifices among others.

Chipping in his contribution, the spokesman of the group, Adekunle Adeosun expressed eagerness to see Fashola included in the current government of President Bola Ahmed Tinunu where he said the chemistry of both the father and the son would synergies to move the country forward smoothly.

Adeosun expressed the delights that the Nigerian people are still eagerly waiting for Fashola’s Midas touch on board to toe the familiar path of performance he inherited from his boss, Tinubu for the benefit of the generality of the good people of the country, trusting President Tinubu that he would not commit the omission of letting Fashola lie fallow with all the bundles of energy deposited in him by the almighty God.

The youthful group’s scribe confessed that, the Fashola’s keynote address at the event has become an encyclopaedia of sort to be consulted at interval whenever one wants to have a feel of what the future holds in stock for the country, concluding that, “Fashola never ceases being a bundle of interesting personality.”
