Havertz Stars As Chelsea Thrash Crystal Palace

Chelsea retook their place in the top four of the Premier League after a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The visitors raced out of the blocks in South London, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes. Kai Havertz netted the first and set up Christian Pulisic to fire in the second.

Mason Mount’s cross was met by Kurt Zouma’s head for the third goal after 30 minutes, setting Chelsea well on their way to three points.

Christian Benteke’s header planted seeds of doubt of that, only for Pulisic to tap in Reece James’ cross to confirm the result.

After wins for West Ham and Liverpool since Chelsea were beaten by West Brom, Tuchel’s side move back into the Champions League places in the Premier League with the win.
