2023: Egunjobi Canvasses Support For APC Candidates

The Director of Publicity Directorate of the Independent Campaign Council (ICC) of Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, yesterday, at Agege Federal Constituency rally, charged residents of the council area and Nigerians to support and vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

Egunjobi stated this at the Agege Local Government and Orile-Agege Local Council Areas’ APC general meeting held at Powerline Community in Orile-Agege LCDA on Monday, February 20, 2023.

Pointing out one of the exemplary leadership qualities of the party’s presidential candidate, he said that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu took the bull by the horn to appeal to the federal government to, as a matter of urgency, apply a productive method to cushion the adverse effect the naira redesign/swap policy has brought to the masses.

Egunjobi who is also the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government emphasised the plans the presidential candidate has for the Nigerians.

He noted that Tinubu would bring about good governance that the masses will be proud of.

 

The council boss added that having Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the second term is also the best for Lagosians in that capacity; likewise other candidates of the party at all levels.

Egunjobi, therefore, charged party faithful to embark on door-to-door campaign to sensitize residents on the need to have Tinubu in Aso Rock Villa come May 29.

Present at the rally include house of representatives and assembly candidates in Agege, Dr. Wale Ahmed and Abdul Kareem Jubril, an APC Agege apex leader, Chief Safari Adaranijo, a commissioner in the Lagos Local Government Service Commission, Taofeek Adaranijo, Executive Chairman Orile-Agege LCDA, Sunday Babatunde Johnson, party chairmen in Agege and Orile, Osungboye, a permanent board member Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Adedoyi Sherifat among others.
