Borussia Dortmund’s chase for a Champions League place didn’t let up as they ran out 2-0 winners over Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

Julian Brandt opened the scoring for the hosts at Signal Iduna Park when Rune Jarstein failed to deal with his shot from distance.

Hertha were reduced to ten men with ten minutes to go when Vladimir Darida was sent off for a challenge on Marco Reus.

Sixteen-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko confirmed the victory in the closing stages, finishing from a tight angle after good work inside the penalty area.

Luckily for an out-of-form Erling Haaland, Dortmund got the win they needed to move to within one point of fourth-place Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
