The wheels are beginning to fall off at Everton after they were sentenced to their second defeat in a week, losing 2-0 at Arsenal.
Aaron Ramsey was at the heart of both of the Gunners’ strikes, assisting for Alexandre Lacazette in the 56th minute and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 59th.
The Toffees had battled gamely to that point without really troubling the hosts, and in fact, it was Aubameyang that had come closest to opening the scoring before the break, his shot crashing back off of the bar on 42 minutes.
Arsenal move up to sixth with the three points in the bag, whilst their visitors languish in 12th and just four points out of the bottom three.
