…Say, its irreparable loss
Arewa youth, under the auspices of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has mourned the death of the Founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr. Frederick Faseuhun describing his demise as “an irreparable loss, not only to the Yoruba race but the whole country.”
In a statement from their National President, Alhaji Yerim Shettima, the youth said “the respected father figure, elder statesman and patriotic activist left behind laudable legacy that would be difficult to forget when talking about contributions towards Nigeria’s greatness.”
According to Yerima, Papa Faseun, who he described as “a detribalized patriot” lamented that the unbowed democratic warrior bowed out at the time his wealth offered experience is much needed for nation building.
While condoling the family, the OPC and the whole nation on the departure of a renowned medical doctor cum activist, Yerima prayed for the repose of his soul saying the vacuum he has left behind would not be easy to fill.
