With the governorship elections for Ekiti state drawing close, stakeholders are upbeat about the successes of their candidates and many have expressed the need for the emergence of professionals who will bring positive inputs in the fortunes of the people and state.
With this new development, the gubernatorial aspirations of Dr. Makanjuola Akindele Owolabi, (MAO) the Aisegba Ekiti- born politician who is the Chief Consultant in Aerospace Medicine and Human Factor of both West African college of Physicians and USA based Aerospace Medical Association, received tremendous boost as his supporters have expressed their conviction for their candidate’s victory at the upcoming polls in the state.
The stakeholders affirmed that, Dr. Owolabi remains the ideal candidate for the exalted office to pilot the affairs of the state to greater heights, economically, morally and developmentally.
This declaration was made after the monthly meeting of MAO and members of his team which held recently in the country home of Dr. Owolabi at Aisegba area of the state.
Manager in Chief of MAO Organisation, Segun Olowokere while welcoming their various Senatorial and LG managers to the meeting, rolled out the strategies which have been designed to use in winning their LGs for MAO in the next APC governorship primary.
Olowokere equally tasked the managers both at the Senatorial and LG levels to work assiduously and relate well to the delegates so that they can achieve their aim.
He described Dr. Makanjuola Owolabi’s governorship aspiration as one ordained by God and acceptable to the generality of Ekiti State.
Dr. MAO, in his response to the crowd, thanked them for coming and assured them of Good Governance based from past experience.
Dr. Owolabi, a globally recognized professional, is a highly qualified expert in aviation medical world focused on the evolvement of Aviation and medicine.
He promised to improve the Health sector in Ekiti state, improve human capacity development and also, the agricultural sector which he said, would be his priorities.
Stakeholders present expressed their strong desire to have a professional in politics at the helm of affairs of Ekiti state which has suffered from bad leadership in the past especially at the moment and with Dr. MAO, they are confident that better days are almost here.
They enjoined the son’s and daughters of Ekiti, especially delegates, to stand up and support Dr. MAO for Ekiti if they truly are tired of suffering in the midst of plenty and want to witness quality and genuine leadership from a quality leader.
