COVID-19: Agege LG Boss, Egunjobi Disinfects Markets, Motor Parks, Schools, Stores, Other
The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, JP, has embarked on disinfecting major areas in his constituency to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus Pandemic.
The disinfecting areas include markets, schools, motor parks, stores, streets, Churches and Mosques, among others.
Egunjobi who was accompanied by Agege Local Government Environmental and Health Service teams charged residents to abide by the guidelines laid by the Lagos state government to curb the spread of COVID-19.
“I call on people of Agege, Lagosians and Nigerians at large to follow the guidelines laid down by the state government to curb the spread of COVID-19.”
“We should all try to maintain at least one-metre distance from each other, avoid social gatherings, imbibe the culture of washing hands regularly after touching any surfaces.”
The council boss expressed further that whoever feel any symptoms of COVID-19 should call emergency numbers provided for quick intervention.
