Ronaldo To Lead Real Madrid To Their Destiny

… No more rest for the winger

… Madrid’s A-team until the end

The blocks have been taken off Cristiano Ronaldo and the Real Madrid forward is to enter terminal velocity for the final week of the LaLiga season and play against both Celta Vigo and Malaga.

Without a league appearance away from home in almost two months, Ronaldo will start at Estadio Balaidos having last travelled to Bilbao for the win over Athletic Club on March 18.

Since then, the Portugal captain has been preserved and nursed through a busy fixture list, enlisted for Champions League knockout clashes but left out of games against Eibar, Sporting Gijon, and many more.

Now is the time to reap the rewards of that resting period and string together three consecutive LaLiga appearances having bagged a brace against Sevilla on the weekend.

Confirming Ronaldo’s presence in Vigo, Zinedine Zidane has called an end to the rotation policy that has seen him through the season to this point, and the so-called A team is in control from here on out.

Indeed, the star forward only has four league goals to his name compared to eight in Europe over the last two months, and now it’s time to carry that form to Galicia and Andalusia in pursuit of the four points that will bring home the league title.
