Liverpool succumbed to their sixth home defeat in a row in the Premier League as they were beaten 1-0 by Fulham at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp made seven changes to the team that lost to Chelsea on Thursday, with an eye on the second leg of their Champions League tie with RB Leipzig on Wednesday.

One of those to keep their place in the team was Mohamed Salah, who was dispossessed by Mario Lemina on the edge of the box for the goal.

The former Juventus midfielder jumped on Salah’s heavy touch, took the ball off him and fired a low shot across Alisson.

The win takes Fulham level on points with 17th-place Brighton near the bottom of the Premier League, while Liverpool remain in seventh, four points off the Champions League places.
