It was 41 minutes into the first half of the game between Arsenal and Brighton when the Gunners’ goalkeeper Bernd Leno decided to catch a ball in the air at the edge of his box.

Brighton‘s striker Neal Maupay challenged the German, who lost his balance and who fell on his right leg to pick up an injury that led to his substitution.

Leno left the pitch on a stretcher, but on his way out he sat up and he confronted Maupay by pointing at and calling out the Frenchman.

The German goalkeeper was replaced by Emiliano Martinez and Arsenal‘s coach Mikel Arteta also approached the Brighton striker to discuss his challenge.

In stoppage time, Maupay scored the winning goal for Brighton for a 2-1 win.
