Bale’s Hot Streak Continues In Tottenham’s Win Over Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur strolled to a comprehensive 4-1 defeat of fellow London side Crystal Palace on Sunday evening.

Both Gareth Bale and Harry Kane bagged a brace, ruling Christian Benteke’s first-half equaliser null and void by the end of the night.

The Welshman opened the scoring with 25 minutes on the clock, tapping into an open goal after being teed up by Kane.

Benteke headed home an equaliser in stoppage time at the end of the first half, but Bale’s second on the end of Kane’s second assist had Jose Mourinho’s side back in front within five minutes of the restart.

Kane then had the chance to get amongst the goals himself. Matt Doherty teed up the captain outside the area, and Kane whipped a stunning strike into the top corner.

Wilfried Zaha did manage to hit the woodwork for Palace, but a familiar combination saw Spurs grab a fourth as Son Heung-min assisted Kane’s second of the evening.
