2023: PDP Misusing Their Chances

Spread the love
It is indeed surprising how People’s Democratic Party handles the lingering leadership tussle of North West chapter of their party.
When there was a rumor and speculations that Matawalle may likely dump PDP for ruling party, they mobilized their governors to meet and convince him not to leave them, but they are joking and playing selfish interest with the most populous state in the country.
Deep inside them, they knew that politically Kano has owner and is none but Sen. Kwankwaso, but because of some blind political permutations, they are making grave mistake of trying to block the most popular politician in the entire zone forgetting the consequences of their actions.
Kwankwaso’s antecedent and track record favoured him. He left PDP in 2014 when the tide was not good and joined APC only to gain more followership. When APC tried to belittle him and clamp his rising popularity by denying him his privileges as one of those who formed the APC led government, he left them and returned to his former party which he served in so many capacities.
Prior to Kwankwaso’s returns to PDP, there were little or no presence of the party in Kano state, as they cannot even participate in elections talk less of winning some seats. The fact that Kwankwaso alone is a crowd puller who succeeded in having absolute control of his followers wherever he set his feet made PDP to bounced back to life and nearly ousted the ruling party if not the intervention of federal might through inconclusive.
Now that we’re approaching 2023, instead of PDP to put its house to order and face the incumbent government squarely, through organizing all hands on deck, it allows some diminished politicians serving their egos trying to cause the party a huge loss.
We’re using this medium to draw the attention of the PDP NWC, NEC and Board of trustees to do the needful and give Kwankwaso his due recognition before it is too late, while awaiting the instruction for the next line of action from our leader.
A stitch at hand saves nine!
