LASPOTECH’ll Invest In Agriculture, Says Rector
The Rector of the Lagos State Polytechnic, Lagos State, Dr Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye, has that his administration will partner with multinational investors to improve agricultural development in the institution.
This was noted by the rector during the flag-off of 2,000 coconut trees planting exercise at the Ikorodu campus of the Polytechnic on Monday.
A statement signed by Director, Information and Public Relations Olanrewaju Kuye, said “Coconut can be used for a wide range of purpose; as to enhance the sustenance of our wellbeing as a people, also, due to its multiple advantage, ranging from ornamental, economical and food security.
The Dean, School of Agriculture, Dr Adebayo Ashafa, appreciated the Management for the initiative, stating that staff and students were much ready to key into whatever agricultural plans the Polytechnic would venture into.
