The German Embassy in Ghana will ‘open its doors’ to the general public on September 30. This is part of series of events organised to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Germany and Ghana.

The Embassy, together with its partner institutions in Ghana, is organizing the Open Day dubbed “Germany goes Ghana – Open doors, open minds” at the premises of the Goethe-Institut Ghana.

The objective of the event, according to a statement by the Embassy, “is to create awareness among the Ghanaian youth about the opportunities available to them as a result of the German-Ghanaian bilateral cooperation.”

The event will be used to “exhibit some of the major achievements after 60 years of a vibrant, dynamic and diverse bilateral relationship.”

There will also be “an exclusive face-to-face question and answer session with German Ambassador Christoph Retzlaff,” the statement added.
