Belgium have made winning a habit, and they continued along the same line with a trouncing of Iceland, thanks in no small part to Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku.

In the lead up to the 2018 World Cup, they scored 43 goals in 10 games, and whilst in Russia, nobody exceeded their 16 goals in the tournament.

After the World Cup, life remains the same.

A 4-0 win over Scotland was followed up on Tuesday by a 3-0 victory over Icelandin the UEFA Nations League.

The Chelsea winger and the United striker complement each other perfectly and have already scored together against Sweden, Norway, Bosnia, Estonia, Gibraltar, Cyprus, Mexico, Egypt, Tunisia and Scotland.

In the ‘Martinez era,’ they have multiplied their numbers: in the last 19 matches for BelgiumLukaku has scored 20 goals and Hazard, 10.

Ingason grabbed Lukaku for a penalty scored by Hazard before the Unitedstriker scored from a corner.

Halldorson saved from Kompany, but Lukaku‘s predatory instincts took over.

He got his second of the night nine minutes from time, thanks to a Mertens cross, making it 20 goals in his last 17 games.

Iceland tried to push … but Courtois stopped them, on a night when everything went right for the ‘Red Devils.’
