The National Working Committee of All Progressives Congress (APC) panel, led by Mr. Clement Ebri, has declared the former Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the winner of the governorship primary held yesterday.
Sanwo-Olu mandate was announced this morning at the Party Secretariat on ACME road.
He said incumbent governor Akinwunmi Ambode polled 72, 901 votes while his main challenger Sanwo-Olu backed by the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu polled 970, 851 votes.
