TAFSAN Tours Pilgrims Return From Hajj, NAHCON Commends Operator

TAFSAN Tours and Travels Limited, the private operator with the largest pilgrims in this year’s Hajj pilgrimage has successfully returned to the country with all its 450 pilgrims.

 

 

The first batch comprising 275 pilgrims arrived at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport on Wednesday aboard Emirates Airline.

 

 

The second batch comprising 76 pilgrims returned to the country, Friday, 31st August, while the remaining pilgrims returned to the country, Saturday 1st September.

 

 

Many of the pilgrims who spoke to the press said they were satisfied with the planning, the organization ability and the welfare package put in place by the Management of TAFSAN Tours and Travels Limited for which reasons they were full of gratitude to the private operator.

 

 

Earlier, the Management of TAFSAN Tours and Travels Limited had received accolades from the leadership of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), the regulatory body in charge of Hajj in Nigeria during the visit of the regulatory body to the TAFSAN Tours tent in Mina, Saudi Arabia as part of its routine check on the welfare of the pilgrims.

 

 

In his address, the Chairman of the Commission Barr Abdullah Muktar Mohammed had expressed its satisfaction over the atmosphere at the camp as well as management capacity of TAFSAN Tours and Travels Limited in ensuring that the welfare of the pilgrims was given adequate attention.

 

 

He also commended the TAFSAN Tours for the good conduct and character exhibited by the pilgrims during the Hajj exercise.

 

 

In his response, the Chairman of TAFSAN Tours and Travels Limited Alhaji Sheriff Yusuf applauded NAHCON officials for the visit and further seized the opportunity to request the Commission to make Hajj exercise easier and more comfortable to the pilgrims in the subsequent years.

 

 

The visit provided the opportunity for an interractive session between the NAHCOM officials and the pilgrims where the pilgrims drew the attention of the commission to areas of improvement in its operations

 

 

The Chairman of the Commission assured the pilgrims that their observations would be given due attention.
