Real Madrid Will Always Be In My Heart – Kiko Casilla

Spread the love

After Leeds United completed the signing of Kiko Casilla from Real Madrid on Thursday, the goalkeeper has written an emotional letter as he says goodbye for the second time.

The Spaniard should start for Marcelo Bielsa‘s side, given the injury to Jamal Blackman and his advantage of Bailey Peacock-Farrell in terms of experience, but the Catalan may be a little rusty after barely featuring in his three-and-a-half years back in Madrid.

“I start a thrilling and exciting challenge,” he wrote in the letter.

“But Real Madrid will always be in my heart.”

Casilla rejoined Los Blancos from Espanyol in 2015, having come through the youth system at Madrid and played for the club’s C and B teams before moving to Los Periquitos in 2007.
