Morales Takes Levante Into Dreamland

Spread the love

Astunning victory from Levante at Real Betis has them in dreamland, with Morales putting the seal on a fabulous night’s work.

Paco Lopez showed how astute a coach he was last season, and at the Estadio Benito Villarmarin against a side known for their wonderful pass and move attributes, his Levante team didn’t let Betis have a moment’s peace.

William Carvalho still needs more time, whilst Boudebouz and Canalessuffered against a side that closed all the gaps.

Any shots from Betis’ front two therefore came outside the area.

First blood went to Levante after a brilliant assist from Jason to Roger, to score the first goal of the season.

After the break, Betis came out with a little more purpose, but then Moralesappeared to create his work of art.

The captain and leader of Levante scored a great goal that can easily finish in the top 10 of the season.

He won a headed duel more than 70 metres from goal, and just kept running.

Nobody could stop him and at 2-0 before the hour it was already game over.

A second from the same player on 94 sent Los Granotas home happy… and top of the table.
