Jalsa Salana: Mankind Has Replaced The True God With Numerous Worldly Things, Says Ahmadiyya Worldwide Head
The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, has advised mankind on the need to worship Allah and rid of various wordly materials.
Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad stated this in his opening speech of the 52nd Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) where he welcomed over thirty thousands (30, 000) people from over 100 countries around the globe to the Britain’s biggest Muslim Convention today (Friday) at the Hadeeqatul Madhi, Oakland Farm, East Worldham, Alton, United Kingdom.
His Holiness likewise prompted Muslims to continue to pray for protection against worldly distractions which are equivalent to hell fire.
“Allah Almighty commands us to pray for our protection against the shortcomings committed by nations that proceeded us.”
“Today we see that Muslims are thirsty for the blood of their fellow Muslims and even innocent children.”
“Ahmadis Muslims must continue to pray that Allah does not cause their hearts to be perverted after being guided.”
“Some people are aware of the sins they committed while others don’t know. Allah Almighty commands us to always seek forgiveness.”
The Promised Messiah (as) states that prayer was the only tool through which Prophet Adam defeated Satan.
“Mankind has replaced the true God with numerous worldly things which distract then from their true purpose.”
“Believers pray for protection against worldly distractions which are equivalent to hell fire in their perception.”
“We have no weapons or worldy power except the sincere prayers to Allah Almighty for the general benefit of mankind.”
In same vein, the Amir Sahib (National President) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Dr Mashu’ud Fashola after the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association event exhorted world leaders on the need to be pious and build peace among one another “as you know Islam is religion of peace, so I will advise all world leaders to come together as one so that the world can live in peace.
Meanwhile, an international shroud conference facilitated by Editor-in-chief of The Review of Religions, Amer Safi was held earlier where other professors like Emanuela Mariinelli, Rome, Italy; Barrie Schwortz, Colorado, USA; Bruno Barberis, Turin, Italy; and Jorge Manuel Rodrigues Almenar, Valencia, Spain, analyzed to defend the authenticity of the ‘Shroud of Turin’.
