Manchester United Burst Watford’s Bubble

Watford’s start to this Premier League season has been something of a dream for Hornets fans, but Manchester United gave them a reality check by securing a 2-1 win away from home on Saturday afternoon.

Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling were among the goals for the Red Devilsbefore Andre Gray pulled one back in the second half for the hosts.

An Ashley Young cross from the left ended up bouncing up onto Lukaku‘s chest and into the net, and United had found their way through Watford‘s defensive wall that looked so impregnable.

That crack then reappeared before too long as Smalling made it two with an excellent goal.

Marouane Fellaini headed a ball back across goal and the defender chested the ball away from goal and dispatched a brilliant volley on the turn.

The job was not yet done though and Watford weren’t dead just yet.

A ball was cut back across the six-yard box and Gray was on hand to side foot into the roof of David De Gea‘s goal.
