An injury to Leroy Sane, which will see him out for between 6-8 weeks, has prompted Manchester City to dip into the transfer market again with Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez their target.
The Algerian has handed in a transfer request in the hope it pushes through the deal for him to end up at the Etihad Stadium.
Mahrez was voted the best player in the Premier League in 2015/16, and according to Sky Sports, City are alleged to be willing to spend more than 55 million euros for his signature.
