Kiko Casilla Joins Leeds United From Real Madrid

Kiko Casilla has completed his move to English Football League Championship side Leeds United after three and a half years at Real Madrid.

The goalkeeper fell to third in the pecking order at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu this season behind Thibaut Courtois and Keylor Navas, therefore opting to for a move for more first team action.

The Spaniard brings his second spell at Los Blancos to an end with three Champions League medals in hand and now joins Marcelo Bielsa‘s revolution at Elland Road.

Leeds currently top the second tier of English football and Casilla will be aiming to help the team earn promotion to the Premier League in the coming months.

Due to his departure, Real Madrid are considering cutting short the loan spell of Andriy Lunin, currently at Leganes, in order for the youngster to provide backup to Courtois and Navas.
