Real Madrid received some good news on Monday morning as Gareth Bale has not suffered an injury to his adductor.
Bale was in some discomfort by the end of the first half of the Madrid derby on Saturday, and after being examined at half time it was decided that he would not continue, a decision that was taken primarily to avoid any unnecessary setbacks.
On Monday at Valdebebas, Bale was examined again, and though the results were inconclusive, the player’s feelings were positive.
Now, the plan is for the Welshman to rejoin the group as soon as possible, and it is expected that he could return to training with the rest of the squad on Thursday.
