Aubameyang Misses Another Dortmund Game To Ramp Up Arsenal Move Speculation

For the second game in a row, Borussia Dortmund have felt it necessary to leave out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the striker’s transfer to Arsenal looks increasingly likely.

Suspended by the club last week for missing a team meeting, Aubameyang came back into training after sitting out the 0-0 draw against Wolfsburg and yet finds himself out of the squad once again.

Facing Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga, Borussia coach Michael Zorc has explained why the Gabon international will not be part of the team travelling to the German capital.

“He’ll be training in Dortmund, we feel that he is not one hundred percent focused,” the 55-year-old told reporters.

“Let’s see if that helps, it’s a difficult situation.

“I had a brief conversation with him on Monday and I told him that I hoped he will make an effort in training.”

Reports in England suggest Aubameyang is high on Arsenal’s agenda with a three-and-a-half year contract mooted, along with a 10 million euro annual wage packet.
