After beating Alexander Povetkin by KO in the seventh round at WembleyAnthony Joshua remains the King of the heavyweights.

Ninety thousand spectators watched the British boxer retain all three of his belts; the World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organisation titles.

His record is now 22-0-0, with 21 of his victories having come through KOs.

Joshua started shakily in a tight duel in the opening rounds, though in the fifth round he began to dominate with jabs to the body and face.

In the seventh round, a right hook sent Povetkin down though he did get up again, but it was quickly apparent that he was not going to be able to finish the fight.

The Russian joins a long list of fighters to have suffered the fate, with only Joseph Parker having avoided a KO against Joshua from all of the opponents he has faced.

AJ sold out Wembley for the second time, adding to two sell outs at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, with his next fight taking place on April 13th in the same arena.
