Alakuko Residents Calls On Ambode For Road Fixing

Residents of Alakuko in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Lagos State have called on the governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode to come to their aid by fixing the Baale Animashaun road linking Ijaiye-Kola-Agbado Station and other routes.

They lamented the deplorable state of the road as it affects them both during the day and night.

Mr Segun Akingbade, a commercial tricyclist said it is sad that the road had been allowed to degenerate to its sore state.

Segun said “you may not understand what people have gone through on this road. Many have lost their valuables and you can see some of my colleagues fixing their machines as well which is as a result of this bad road.”

Also, a resident in the area, Mrs Adunni Adebayo said she went into a force labour when pregnant because of the state of the road. She said “I was 7 months pregnant and going out when I was forced into labour. You can see how bumpy and rough the road is, we are not having it funny on this road at all. We want to call on our dear Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode to please assist us in fixing this road as soon as possible.”
