Maverick Lawyer, philanthropist, community development advocate and administrator of Umeh Need Road Forum, Chief Duncan Afahokor Esq., has described the Ovie of Igbide Kingdom, HRM Edward Obukeni I, as a mornarch and Leader in a class of his own in the league of royalties.

 

Afahokor who holds the prestigious traditional title of the Ododo of Umeh Kingdom, stated further that the traditional ruler’s charisma, depth of knowledge, uncommon perspicacity has over the years stood him out as a King truly crowned by God.

 

“Your Majesty, I grew up to see and know you as our king. You are everything a King should be. With deep wisdom and uncommon perspicacity, you have seamlessly navigated the traditional affairs of Igbide kingdom to the astonishment of us all. As the longest reigning monarch in this land, it is no doubt that you were crowned by God himself”, Afahokor said.

 

While enjoining the people of Igbide Kingdom, Isoko, Delta State and the Country in general to join in praying for many more years for the King, Afahokor who is also the proprietor of the Ododo Foundation, expressed unshakable confidence in the Obukeni’s leadership.

 

“Your Majesty sir, I join our people in Igbide, Delta State and the Country at large to pray that you continue to lead us all in peace and good health. May your reign continue to bring the good things of life to Igbide. As you celebrate this memorable occasion, may your day be embellished with glamour and honour, and God increase your wisdom to continue to steer your people aright”, he concluded.
